One small part, a new benchmark for EV range & durability!

Amid the surging electrified mobility wave, e-bikes and e-motorcycles have emerged as the primary option for urban commuting and short trips. The connection reliability of their core systems is a direct determinant of riding safety and user experience. Serving as the neural hub for power transmission and signal communication, connectors face harsh operating conditions like high-frequency vibration, weather exposure and frequent plugging/unplugging, where traditional products suffer from loosening, overheating and misplug damage. The fourth-gen low-voltage high-current LIFTF series connectors, boasting seven core technological breakthroughs, offer pivotal support for the high-quality growth of the electric vehicle sector.

In the selection of dedicated connectors, picking the right manufacturer and brand is crucial! Founded in 2002, Changzhou Amass Electronics Co., Ltd. – the creator of the XT series – has specialized in DC high-current connectors for low-voltage intelligent equipment (below automotive grade) for 23 years. As a national "little giant" high-tech enterprise with integrated design, R&D, manufacturing and sales capabilities, we own over 200 patents, have delivered 10,000+ project cases, and supported more than 100 million installed units for global customers.

The company is located in Lijia Industrial Park, Wujin District, Jiangsu Province, with a production area of over 12,000 square meters and independent proprietary rights to the land. Our R&D, manufacturing and sales team consists of nearly 300 professionals. We offer more than 100 types of connector products, which fully meet the connector demands of various application scenarios including garden tools, energy storage equipment, electric vehicles, smart home appliances, intelligent robots, as well as aerial models and UAVs. Meanwhile, we provide efficient product R&D and manufacturing services, and deliver a 7A full-cycle solution for industrial customers.

The high current-carrying and low temperature rise performance stands as the core highlight of the LIFTF series for adapting to the power demands of electric vehicles. The instantaneous high current generated when an electric vehicle starts up or climbs a slope tends to cause excessive temperature rise in traditional connectors, and even poses a risk of burnout. Adopting an automotive-grade crown spring contact structure, the LIFTF series upgrades the slotted contacts of the main pin from 4 to 12, tripling the contact area. Combined with high-conductivity red copper conductors, it not only meets the rated current requirements of 20A to 50A, but also achieves a normal temperature rise of less than 30K within 4 hours – far superior to the industry average of 40K. This significantly extends the single-charge driving range and effectively alleviates users' range anxiety.

The anti-vibration and anti-loosening design solves the connection challenge caused by high-frequency vibration in electric vehicles. Persistent vibrations from road bumps during vehicle operation tend to lead to intermittent disconnection of traditional connectors, while the fixing methods relying on cable ties or glue are extremely inconvenient for maintenance. The LIFTF series innovatively adopts an upgraded buckle structure featuring one-plug-and-lock functionality, which automatically locks the male and female terminals upon mating. Combined with a push-type card slot unlocking mechanism, it not only ensures connection stability in a wide-frequency vibration environment, but also facilitates plugging and unplugging during subsequent battery replacement and maintenance, significantly reducing the failure probability of electric vehicles caused by loose connections.

The IP67 high protection rating enables full adaptation to the complex outdoor operating environments of electric vehicles. Electric vehicles are frequently exposed to rainstorms, muddy terrain and dust during daily operation, making the sealing performance of connectors critical. The LIFTF series adopts a sealed cavity structure formed by dual rubber sealing rings combined with buckle locking, which effectively blocks dust intrusion and liquid splashing, ensuring stable power transmission even in rainstorm conditions. Its plastic housing is made of engineering plastic PBT, with a temperature resistance range of -40℃ to 140℃ – it can withstand both summer exposure to intense sunlight and the low-temperature environments in northern cold regions. Moreover, no cracks are found after the drop hammer impact test, allowing it to endure impact shocks from accidental falls.

Notably, the LIFTF series strictly complies with 23 automotive-grade standard tests, with a lead content of less than 100 PPM. It meets five major international environmental regulations including ROHS 2.0, ensuring unimpeded export to global markets. Its miniaturized design also saves space for the optimization of the internal structure of electric vehicles, creating favorable conditions for the integration of components such as smart sensors and speed control modules, and driving the development of electric vehicles towards lightweight and intelligent directions. In terms of practical application effects, this series of connectors has become the preferred solution for core components of electric vehicles, helping the industry resolve critical connection pain points.

As the electric vehicle industry advances toward intelligentization and extended range, the reliability and adaptability of connection systems have become core competitive strengths. Through targeted technological innovations, the LIFTF series connectors precisely meet the requirements of complex working conditions for electric vehicles. They have not only achieved a leap from functional usability to superior performance, but also accelerated the localization replacement process of domestic connectors with high cost-effectiveness, laying a solid core connection foundation for electrified mobility.
